Mama Juanes is another great salsa spot to hit in LA In Short. It is located at 3707 Cahuenga Blvd Studio City, CA 91604

A narrow, steep staircase leads into a large room painted in sizzling crimson and amber hues. Tiny round booths flank the spacious dance floor, where well-practiced salseros and awkward newbies gather to hear the sexy sounds of regular performers like Johnny Polanco, Son Mayor and mariachi bands. Know Before You Go

If you're not eating, be prepared to pay a cover and fulfill the two-drink minimum for bar tables on Thursdays. Booth service requires a dinner reservation.

Parking

Check the surrounding streets to save money and self-park. Otherwise, valet parking is available.

Look Good

Salsa lessons are offered Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30pm for $10.
